All presentations and offline activities will be held in Hefei, China.

Hefei is located in central Anhui Province, between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River basins, and it is an important gateway city on the western flank of the Yangtze River Delta. The terrain is higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, bordering Huainan City in the north, Chuzhou City in the northeast, Lu’an City in the west, Wuhu City and Tongling City in the south. It is about 1,000 kilometers away from Beijing, 170 kilometers away from Nanjing, and 450 kilometers away from Shanghai. Surrounded by Chaohu Lake, one of China’s five largest freshwater lakes, Hefei serves as a comprehensive national science center and a national comprehensive transportation hub.

Hefei hosts a cluster of top universities and research institutions. The University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology and Anhui University have achieved remarkable accomplishments in quantum information, artificial intelligence, engineering, computer science and advanced manufacturing. Among them, the University of Science and Technology of China enjoys world-renowned advantages in basic science and cutting-edge interdisciplinary research. Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other research institutes have yielded fruitful outcomes in fields such as plasma physics, intelligent machinery and new materials, with numerous national-level research platforms. University-industry cooperation accelerates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, such as the joint development of intelligent speech technology and industrial large model applications between local universities and leading enterprises in Hefei.
